Born 28 September 1996 in Bangkok, Thailand, Yáng Yúnqíng (Thai: เกวลิน บุญศรัทธา Kewalin Boonsatta) – the singer and rapper of Chinese descent known professionally as Sunnee – rose to fame as a member of girl group Rocket Girls 101. Harboring musical ambitions as a child, she moved to Taiwan aged 15 and was signed to Comic Communication Co. In September 2011, she secured her first moment in the spotlight at the 5th Global Hokkien Singing Competition Thailand Division held in Bangkok, winning the first runner-up prize, and paving the way for her girl group debut in 2014. She stepped out with A'N'D, also known as Angel N Devil, whose signature tune was featured as the theme song to the 2014 eponymous Taiwanese drama. Her musical breakthrough came in 2018 when she took part in the Chinese reality survival girl group show Produce 101, becoming part of Rocket Girls 101. She released a handful of records with the group, including 2019 debut album The Wind, before the members parted ways in June 2020. Sunnee signed with Universal Music China that same month and released her debut single "By Your Side(陽光的陪伴)," with a follow-up single, "Summer Party(夏日Party)," arriving in August. Her first solo album, "How's the weather today?" (天氣:晴) landed in September 2020 and was certified double diamond by China's QQ Music. Her second album, 秘ME, was released in September 2021.
