An American singer-songwriter, Sydney Rose enjoyed success on both sides of the Atlantic with the track "We Hug Now". Real name Sydney Struchtemeyer, she appeared on listening platforms in 2020 with the track "Home", followed by other singles and a first viral hit with "Turning Pages". The singer, who develops a gentle, minimalist style on the piano, matched by a whispered, veiled voice over careful arrangements, releases her first six-track EP, You Never Met Me, in 2022, with a collaboration by Zachary Knowles. She continued with new tracks, collected on the five-track EP This Kind of Things Doesn't Last (2022), before the release of the album One Sided in 2023, featuring the participation of Chloe Moriondo on one track. In November 2024, new compositions on piano or guitar are featured on the Voice Notes EP, while 2025 opens with her biggest success with the track "We Hug Now", which from viral notoriety becomes a chart hit in the UK independent charts (#17), the US Rock & Alternative Songs (#25), then the official UK singles chart (#70).
