In 2010, folk-pop duo Tall Heights was born in Boston, Massachusetts. The duo consists of singer-guitarist Tim Harrington and singer-cellist Paul Wright, who met in Sturbridge, where they were both living. They soon decided to perform on the streets of Boston, hoping to attract attention. To do so, they were forced to reduce their songs to minimalist arrangements, which would soon become their main trademark. An EP was released in 2011, Rafters, followed in 2012 by The Running of the Bulls , and soon a debut album entitled Man of Stone . But it was their meeting with songwriter Ryan Montbleau that proved decisive. He took them under his wing and, together, shared numerous stages under his guidance, even leading the musicians to release a joint EP in 2014, All or Nothing/Fast Car. With the EP Holding On, Holding Out, released in 2015, the duo expanded the acoustic sound of their debut by incorporating drums, electric guitar and keyboards. An album by the name of Neptune sees the light of day in 2016.
