Tananai

Tananai is the stage name of Alberto Cotta Ramusino (May 8, 1995), an Italian singer-songwriter and producer from Milan. He began releasing singles under the moniker Not for Us during his teenage years and then issued his first studio effort To Discover and Forget in 2017 via Universal Music Italia. A year later, he made his debut as Tananai with the track "Volersi Male," followed by a slew of singles that culminated in the release of his debut EP Piccoli Boati in 2020. His hot streak continued in 2021 with the viral single "Baby Goddamn" and the Fedez collaboration "Le Madri Degli Altri," both of which helped establish Tananai as one of the fastest-rising stars in Italian pop. That same year, he finished up in third place in the Sanremo Giovani contest with the song "Esagerata," winning the chance to compete at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2022. "Sesso Occasionale," his competition entry, placed 25th in the tournament and was later released as a single, reaching Number 16 on the Italian Singles Chart. Later his first album under the name Tananai was released, Rave, Ecclissi, which reached number 3 in the Italian charts, with the hit "Baby Goddam", in the same place on the singles side. After collaborations with Fedez on the No. 1 "La Dolce Vita" or Biagio Antonacci, and the second place obtained by the reissue of Rave, Ecclissi with the new hit "Tango" (No. 2), the singer unveiled in 2024 the first extracts from his new album, "Ho fatto un sogno" with Madame and Rose Villain, then the duet with Annalisa, "Storie Brevi", ranked No. 2. The album CalmoCobra immediately reached first place in the charts.
