Born as a side project of Melbourne-based indie folk band The Little Stevies, Teeny Tiny Stevies is an award-winning Australian children’s music group. Sisters Bethany and Sybilla Stephen started writing children’s songs in 2015 and had an album’s worth of material by the end of the year. The LP, entitled Useful Songs for Little People, saw the light in December and included the songs “I Ate a Rainbow,” “Family (Love Is Love),” and “Baby In Mum's Tummy,” which made it to the finals in the International Songwriting Competition. In 2018, their sophomore effort Helpful Songs for Little People earned them a nomination for the ARIA Awards in the category of Best Children’s Album. Preceded by the singles “Had You to Teach Me,” “Superpower,” and “Good for Your Health,” third album Thoughtful Songs for Little People arrived in 2020 and won Best Children’s Album at the ARIA Awards that year. It was also their first full-length to enter the AR1A Charts, climbing to Number 33 upon its initial release.
