Sweden's The Haunted have made a name for themselves around the world with an effective recipe for fusion thrash metal mixed with melodic death metal. After 1998's The Haunted, they began touring the world with Made Me Do It in 2000. One Kill Wonder is considered one of metal's most important albums of 2003, taking The Haunted as far afield as Australia and South Africa. rEVOLVEr in 2004 continues in the same vein. Although The Dead Eye (2006) and Versus (2008) are less than stellar, The Haunted remain a leading thrash band with Unseen in 2011. After a major lineup renewal in 2012, The Haunted released Exit Wounds in August 2014.
