The Jazz Passengers

Formed in 1987 by saxophonist Roy Nathanson and trombonist Curtis Fowlkes, The Jazz Passengers is a group of experienced jazzmen with a post-bop style. The group, at the forefront of the New York scene, evolved with each album, even welcoming rock stars such as Jeff Buckley, Freedy Johnston, Mavis Staples and Blondie singer Debbie Harry on In Love in 1994. The latter returned to the fold in 2010 on Reunited.
