The Koxx (Hangul: 칵스) is a South Korean indie rock band formed in 2009, known for their energetic performances and involvement in producing K-pop songs. The original lineup consists of Lee Hyunsong (vocals, guitar), Lee Sooryun (guitar), Park Sunbin (bass), Shaun (synthesizers, supporting vocals), and Shin Saron (drums). The band came together in 2008 after playing a show at an end-of-year party with friends and formally debuted in 2009, gaining exposure through the reality show Hello Rookie. They released their first EP, Enter, on June 15, 2010, followed by their first studio album Access OK in 2011. The Koxx quickly gained popularity, earning the "Discovery of the Year" award at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards in 2012. That same year, they appeared on KBS' reality show Top Band 2 and released their second EP, Bon Voyage. In 2013, the band went on hiatus as members fulfilled their mandatory military service. The Koxx resumed activities in 2015, performing at the Fuji Rock Festival and working on new music. Their second studio album, The New Normal, was released in November 2015. In 2017, they released their third EP, Red.
