The Mighty Bop

The Mighty Bop was one of the first aliases used by Christophe Le Friant. Then he became Chris the French Kiss, Reminiscence Quartet and finally Bob Sinclar. After starting his DJ career around 1988, The Mighty Bop met DJ Yellow, with whom he founded Yellow Productions in 1994. La Vague Sensorielle in 1995 was one of the first French touch albums, but it was The Mighty Bop's participation in The Mighty Bop Meet DJ Cam Et La Funk Mob in 1995 that marked the beginning of the movement. Two new albums were released in 1996, Autres Voix Autres Blues and Ult Violett Sounds. The Mighty Bop's legendary tracks are featured on Spin My Hits in 2000. Having already become Bob Sinclar le flamboyant, The Mighty Bop reappeared in 2002 with The Mighty Bop.
