The Wytches are an English rock band formed in 2011 by Kristian Bell and Gianni Honey in Peterborough, later joined by Daniel Rumsey in Brighton. Their music is known for its blend of surf, punk, and psych genres. The trio released their debut single "Beehive Queen" in 2013, followed by the critically acclaimed album "Annabel Dream Reader" in 2014, produced by Bill Ryder-Jones. Their second album, "All Your Happy Life", was released in 2016, and they continued to tour and release music as an independent band. In 2019, drummer Gianni Honey left the group, with Demelza Mather joining as a session musician and later becoming a full-time member. In 2020, they released their third album "Three Mile Ditch" via their own label Cable Code Records. Kristian Bell has also released solo work under Cable Code Records, while Daniel Rumsey explored side projects such as Dan Rumsey & the Dark Days. Most recently, The Wytches signed with Alcopop! Records and released their fourth album "Our Guest Can't Be Named" in September 2023, along with a limited edition vinyl pressing in collaboration with Dinked.
