Théo Fouchenneret

A classical pianist, Théo Fouchenneret is the younger brother of violinist Pierre Fouchenneret. Born in Nice on February 26, 1994, he began his apprenticeship at the age of three and went on to study at the local conservatory, then in Paris with Alain Planès and Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Founder of the Messiaen Trio in 2014 with Raphaël Sévère, David Petrlik and Volodia Van Keulen, he in turn received two first prizes, at the Fauré Competition in 2013 and then at the Geneva International Competition in 2018. He collaborates on the album Poulenc - Fauré - Komitas by cellist Astrig Siranossian, and with pianist Eric Le Sage on a series of recitals dedicated to Schumann's piano works for four hands and two pianos. Under contract with the young label B Records, he records the albums Beethoven: Waldstein & Hammerklavier (2020) and Fauré: Nocturnes (2024).
