Thérapie TAXI are a French pop group featuring vocalists Adélaïde Chabannes de Balsac, Raphaël Faget-Zaoui and Renaud Bizart, who mix in rock and hip-hop. The band’s origins date back to 2012, when Faget-Zaoui responded to Chabanne’s ad in a social network for musicians. Their lineup was consolidated in 2016 with the addition of guitarist and keyboardist Félix Gros and drummer Renaud Bizart. That same year, they made their official debut with the single “Salop(e),” which led to a record deal with Panenka Music. The release of the 2017 Therapie Taxi - EP prompted a series of appearances in small venues and festivals like Rock en Seine. Preceded by the single “Coma Idyllique,” their studio debut Hit Sale saw the light in 2018. Its title track entered the French Top 20 and fared even better in Belgium, where it topped the singles chart and obtained gold certification. They quickly followed up with a deluxe version titled Hit Sale Xtra Cheese (2018), featuring new songs and remixes by Yuksek and Contrefaçon, and Cadavre Exquis (2019), which earned them a nomination as Revelation of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique Awards. After cancelling their 2020 promotional tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, the group announced their dissolution and the release of the EP Rupture 2 merde (2021), with the track “Été 90” as lead single.
