Thibault Noally

Founder of the baroque ensemble Les Accents, violinist and conductor Thibault Noally trained with the great masters of the genre. Born on March 24, 1982, he studied with Maurice Talvat, Yuko Mor and Irina Medvedeva, before going on to the Royal Academy of Music in London with Lydia Mordkovitch and Trevor Pinnock. In 2006, he was appointed concertmaster of Les Musiciens du Louvre-Grenoble, directed by Marc Minkowski, and gradually took over its direction. He also regularly collaborates with Sinfonia Varsovia as a guest, and in 2014 founded his own ensemble, Les Accents, at the Festival international d'opéra baroque de Beaune. In addition to the stage re-enactment of Vivaldi's opera Tamerlano, the orchestra, which specializes in 17th- and 18th-century music on period instruments, has recorded the albums Venezia 1700 (2016), Oratorio (2018), Bach & Co (2019), A. Scarlatti: Il Martirio di Santa Teodosia (2020), Rameau: Concerts en Sextuor (2022) and Hasse's oratorio Serpentes igniei in Deserto (2024), featuring Philippe Jaroussky and Julia Lezhneva.
