Originally from Groveland, Florida, contemporary gospel singer Thomas Ware made his name in 2022 with the track "Love Me to Death". He began by singing in a church choir before composing his own songs. Initially drawn to rap, he performed with a number of big names such as OutKast and JaRule, before turning to gospel. He launched his own label, Contagious Hope Music, releasing "Love Me to Death" and "Never Cast One Stone" in 2022 . After collaborating with Ashley Peck and Dione McDuffie on "Never #2" in 2023, Thomas Ware recorded an EP devoted to Christmas songs, Christmas with Momma. He followed this up in 2024 with "One Man", followed by the redemptive hit "Letting It Go".
