Tiakola

Tiakola, of Congolese origin, was born William Mundala in La Courneuve, Seine-Saint-Denis on December 4, 2000. He began his career by forming the 4Keus collective with six other rappers, Bouska, Leblack, Bné, Djeffi, HK & Pekenio, who soon signed with the Wati B label, then known for producing groups such as Sexion d'assaut and The Shin Sekaï. Success came in 2017 with the single "O'Kartier c'est la Hess", before the group split into two entities: 4Keus Gang and 4Keus, which still includes Tiakola with Bné, Djeffi and HK. In 2019, without leaving his group, Tiakola inaugurates his solo career with the single "Sombre mélodie", taken from the compilation CRCLR Mouvement. He was subsequently invited to collaborate with artists such as Dadju, Franglish and Gazo, before returning to his personal discography in 2021 with the hit "Pousse-toi " (no. 18). He recorded two more tracks the same year, "Étincelle (Maradona)" (no. 19) and "La Clé " (no. 64), which heralded the 2022 release of the album Mélo (no. 1), featuring contributions from Gazo, Niska, Rsko, Hamza and SDM. In 2023, he performs for the first time at the Olympia in Paris. He closes the year with a new release, La Mélo Est Gangx, recorded jointly with Gazo. Guests such as Kore and Skread were also added. The opus soon topped the best-selling album charts in France. After this triple platinum disc, he followed up with a six-track EP, which reached number 11 in the French charts on its release in 2024. It includes the track "Solo ", recorded with La Fève.
