She moved to the Bronx, New York at the age of 12, where she was heavily influenced by the rich Caribbean music scene. Her stage name, HoodCelebrityy, reflects her desire to stay grounded and connected to her roots while achieving stardom. She first gained attention with her 2017 single “Walking Trophy,” which quickly became an anthem of self-confidence and empowerment. The song’s success was fueled by its catchy melody and relatable lyrics, celebrating women of all shapes and sizes. HoodCelebrityy’s music blends dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop, creating a unique sound that resonates with a diverse audience. Her debut album Trap vs. Reggae (2017), showcased her versatility and solidified her position in the music industry. She followed with two EPs, Inna Real Life (2018) and You Know the Vibez (2020), further establishing her brand and musical identity. In 2024, the album Tina vs. HoodCelebritty followed, from which the hit "Roses" was taken, ranking #40 on the US Billboard Top 40 Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop.
