Tomorrow x Together

Six years after K-pop icons BTS began their journey toward global superstardom, the Big Hit Entertainment company that masterminded the group's success launched a second boyband. The five members of TXT, or Tomorrow X Together, were unveiled over ten days in early 2019 via a series of introduction videos. Bandmates Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai quickly built a global audience of fans, thanks to the success of TXT's debut single, “Crown.” A number 1 hit on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, “Crown” helped set the stage for the group's five-track EP, The Dream Chapter: Star, which topped the South Korean charts that spring. A full-length album, The Dream Chapter: Magic, followed in October and went platinum in South Korea. TXT remained equally prolific in 2020, releasing two EPs — The Dream Chapter: Eternity and Minisode 1: Blue Hour — that debuted atop Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. Their debut Japanese album Still Dreaming arrived in 2021 and quickly rose to the top of the Oricon charts, followed by a second Korean studio album titled The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, released in May of that year. Preceded by the single “0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)” featuring Seori, The Chaos Chapter: Freeze became TXT’s fourth consecutive number 1 in Japan and their highest-charting release in the US, reaching number 5 on the Billboard 200. In 2022, Tomorrow x Together issued their fourth Korean extended play Minisode 2: Thursday's Child, topping the charts in South Korea, Japan, and the US. The band would repeat the feat the following year with the EP The Name Chapter: Temptation, which received platinum certification in both Japan and South Korea. Sweet, their highly anticipated fourth studio effort, came out in 2023 and proved wildly successful in Japan, reaching number 1 on both the Oricon and Billboard charts. A few months later, TXT returned with their third South Korean studio album, The Name Chapter: Freefall. Featuring a single guest spot by the Jonas Brothers, the LP achieved pole position in South Korea, Japan, and the US, quickly becoming one of their most popular releases. Tomorrow x Together would repeat the feat later that year with their fifth Korean EP, The Name Chapter: Temptation. Minisode 3: Tomorrow, the group's sixth Korean extended play, hit the shelves in 2024, debuting atop the charts in South Korea and Japan, where it also peaked at number 42 on the Top 100 of Line Music's albums chart. On November 4, 2024, they released their seventh EP The Star Chapter: Sanctuary, featuring the title track "Over The Moon".
