Tony Truant isn't a western character, though. It's the stage name of Antoine Masy-Périer, singer and guitarist who spent ten years with Dogs, a French rock band whose fame spread far beyond France's borders in the late 1970s. Since the early 1990s, Tony Truant has pursued solo and collaborative projects (with Joseph Racaille, a bassist and drummer he calls his Deux Solutions, and with The Fleshtones), resulting in five albums and a label, Disques Poussinet. Since 2005, he has also been the guitarist for Les Wampas.
