Two X was a South Korean girl group formed under J. Tune Entertainment in 2012. Originally a five-piece consisting of Jiu, Minjoo, Eun, Surin, and Eunyoung, their music style incorporated elements from pop, dance music, and R&B. Two X entered the music scene with their stage debut on M Countdown in 2012, which gave way to the release of their debut single "Double Up." The track reached number 22 on the South Korean charts and was closely followed by "Ring Ma Bell," which peaked at number 13. After officially ending their contract with J. Tune Camp, Two X joined Star Gaze Entertainment's roster. This change also led to the departure of founding member Min-joo. Continuing as a four-piece, Two X released the song "Over" in 2016 as a promotional single their third single album Reboot. This release was a comeback after a three-year hiatus. By the latter half of 2017, Two X's activities dwindled, leading to their disbandment announced by member Eun on social media in 2018.
