Year 7 Class 1 was a South Korean girl group formed by DRB Entertainment. The group consisted of Baek Se-hee, Kang Min-ju, Shin Ee-rang, Kwon So-jung, Han Bit-na, Yoo Hwa, and Go Eun-sil. Throughout their career, they were known for their unique roles within the group, mirroring a classroom structure. Their energetic, dynamic music style blended K-pop with elements from dance-pop and electronic music. Year 7 Class 1 released their debut single, "Oppa Virus," in 2014. This release was followed by a live performance on SBS MTV The Show. Later in the year, they returned with the second single "Always," featuring a more mellow music style and showcasing a new side of the group. Year 7 Class 1 continued their momentum with the release of their first EP, Believe, in 2015. The release peaked at number 26 on the South Korean charts. They also contributed the song "Hey You" to the drama Sweden Laundry. Having established themselves in the South Korean music scene, the group shifted their focus to Japan in 2016, releasing Japanese versions of their songs "Oppa Virus" and "Always." In 2017, they returned to South Korea with the singles "Please Remember Me" and "With Spring." Their activities decreased over the following year, and by August 2018 members began pursuing individual activities, signaling the dissolution of Year 7 Class 1.
