Tyaf

Singer and rapper Tidjani Ahmed Yasir, known as Tyaf Papa Yasir or simply Tyaf, was born on March 18, 1994 in Cotonou, Benin. He took his first steps on stage as part of the Kanpke hip-hop festival in Benin in 2013, where he was named best talent of the year. In 2015, his first single "Awe Gankpo" was released. Spotted by a producer, he signed with Meko Prod and went from strength to strength? EN 2016, singles including "Elle Aime Trop Ça", "Doua Kpo" or "Paster Kiki" ranked second by Trace Urban, or "Un Message au Président" (2018). Taking advantage of his visibility, he released his debut album "Au sommet" (2018) and celebrated its release at the Palais des Sports in Cotonou, the first rapper to fill the 8,000-seat venue. He left the Meko Prod label in 2019 and self-produced his album 10 de Dieu in 2021, touring mainly in Benin.
