Ulices Chaidez is a pop singer-songwriter and musician from Mexico who has garnered attention in Latin America with his group Ulices Chaidez y Sus Plebes. He began playing music as a child performing at regional festivals and in talent contests. His debut release with the band, 'Andamos En El Ruedo', topped Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums Chart and went to number three on the Top Latin Albums Chart. 'El Elegido' (2017) reached number nine on the Regional Mexican Albums Chart and number 22 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Their 2017 tracks 'Porque Me Enamore' and 'Te Reggio' topped the Regional Mexican Songs Chart as did 'Que Bonito Es Querer' in 2018. He featured on Kevin Ortiz's 'Coronoa de Rosas' (2017) which peaked at number nine on the Regional Mexican Songs Chart as did his 2019 solo track 'Las Ensananzas'. His 2019 schedule included appearances at American venues in South Carolina and Virginia.
