Atypical in his eclecticism, UssaR, whose real name is Emmanuel Trouvé, began his career on the piano, in contact with jazz and under the influence of Keith Jarrett. But his curiosity led him down other paths, those of 1970s rock and, above all, rap. It was this latter path that he took when he decided to leave his studies. He then forged a hybrid formula, combining stripped-down, ethereal melodies, a taste for chanson and the freedom of rap writing. In 2020, the artist from Le Havre experimented with this formula on his first EP, UssaR, before releasing his first album, Étendues, the following year. The album features tracks such as "6 milliards", "Bidon vie" and "La Violence".
