VAST is primarily the story and project of a precocious genius, Jon Crosby. Spotted at the age of 13 by Guitar Player Magazine as one of the virtuosos of the future, Jon Crosby soon confirmed his status. Produced almost single-handedly, his debut album Visual Audio Sensory Theater - or VAST - hit the stores in 1998. Somewhere between industrial metal and cold wave, the album is incredibly rich for a 22-year-old musician. With Music for People in 2000, he scored his first success. A period of confusion followed with the albums Nude (2004) and Turquoise & Crimson (2006), before he returned to the forefront with April in 2007. Me and You in 2009 is initially only available direct from the artist's label.
