Veeze is the stage name of American rapper Karon Vantress, born in 1995 in Detroit, Michigan. Making his entrance onto the scene in 2019, Veeze made waves with the singles "Big Draco" and "Itself" before landing a moderate hit with "Rusty" later that year. What followed was a prolific streak of non-album tracks and collaborations, including features on fellow Michigan rapper Babyface Ray's "Half & Half," "Red Key," and "Exotics." Babyface Ray would return the kindness with a feature on Veeze's 2019 debut mixtape, Navy Wavy, a critically acclaimed effort that included cameos by Peezy and Beno. Over the following years, Veeze kept up the pace by expanding the limits of his sound on releases such as "Law N Order" (2020), "A and W" (2021), "Kurt Angle" (2021), and "Close Friends" (2022). 2023 found the rapper in top form, issuing the Lil Uzi Vert collaboration "GOMD," and finally delivering his debut full-length Ganger a few months later. Ganger became Veeze's first charting effort, peaking at Number 152 on the Billboard 200.
