From the Pablo Picasso housing estate in Nanterre, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, rapper Ven1 leaves few clues as to his identity, appearing with his face hidden behind sunglasses, a balaclava and a hood. His stage name, however, quickly circulated on the French rap scene, thanks to his first single, a melancholy track dotted with guitars, "Hakayet" . In 2024, the clip garnered over five million views on YouTube in less than three months, and reached number 23 on the French singles chart. Following this, in May, he released a second track, "Bougie ", with a cloud rap feel.
