Flamenco guitar virtuoso Vicente Amigo is the natural successor to Paco de Lucia. Like Paco de Lucia, he has played with the legendary Camarón de la Isla and many other flamenco masters. Vicente Amigo went solo in 1991 with De Mi Corazón al Aire. That same year, he performed at the Leyendas de la Guitarra festival in Seville, featuring such luminaries as Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Paco de Lucia, Phil Manzanera and Robert Cray. Vicente Amigo regularly records for artists as diverse as Khaled, Miguel Bosé and Sting. He also shares the stage with jazzmen such as John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola. Vicente Amigo was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2000 for Ciudad de las Ideas. In 2013, he recorded Tierra in London with Guy Fletcher of Dire Straits.
