Twin sisters Catherine Thomas and Lizzy Thomas (28 March 1994) started writing songs together at a young age. Growing up on a farm in rural Hampshire, England, the country-pop duo shared their thoughts and feelings through their music. They released their debut album From Where We Stand in 2014, peaking at number 41 on the UK Albums Chart and winning the award for Album of the Year at the British Country Music Awards. Singles from the album include "Push for the Stride," "The Good & the Right," "Town Called Ugley" and "Guest List." 2016 saw the release of their second album Cartwheels, which reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and the Country Chart, the first British country act to achieve such an accolade. They followed up by touring the UK with Miranda Lambert in 2017 and releasing their third album Restless Minds in 2018. The LP went to number eight in the UK and to the top of the Country Chart. Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, the pair's fourth album Invitation arrived via Sony Music/WTW Music in 2020 and went to number 29 on the UK Albums Chart. Their fifth album Music in the Madness emerged three years later, marked out by the first single, "Sweet Time," and produced by Ed Harcourt and mixed by Dan Grech (Halsey, Lan Del Ray, Liam Gallagher).
