Welshly Arms

The US blues and rock band Welshly Arms was founded in Cleveland in 2012 by Sam Getz (vocals, guitar), Jimmy Weaver (bass, vocals) and Mikey Gould (drums), among others. In fall 2013, they released their first EP called Welcome. Two years later, their debut album Welshly Arms was released in May 2015. The songs of Welshly Arms are used in TV series such as Sense8 and Empire, for the trailer of the movie The Hateful Eight. in 2017, the band released the EP Legendary with the single of the same name, which is part of the soundtrack of the Power Rangers movie. "Legendary" reaches the top 20 in the charts in Germany and Austria. In the summer of the same year, the group performs at the famous German music festival Rock am Ring. Their second album is released in spring 2018 under the name No Place Is Home. It climbs to 30th place in Switzerland and 49th place in Germany. The single from the album, "Sanctury", reached number 50 in the Swiss singles charts. 2021 sees Welshy Arms release the single "I Will Overcome".
