WHIB

WHIB is an eight-member boy group from South Korea, operating under the label C-JeS Entertainment. Initially known as M.I.C (Made In C-JeS), the group was officially introduced as WHIB on November 8, 2023, with the release of their single album Cut-Out. The group's name, a blend of the colors "white" and "black," symbolizes their diverse range of charms and talents. The group's journey began in November 2021 when C-JeS Entertainment unveiled the social media account for their trainee group, at the time known as M.I.C. The gradual introduction of members started in March 2022, with JaeHyeon being the first. Other members followed suit, including InHong, SeungYong (later known as UGeon), MinHyuk, SunHo, JunMin (later known as Jayder), LeeJeong, and JinBeom. However, the initial lineup saw changes with MinHyuk, HoJin, and SunHo's exits by the end of the year. The group's pre-debut phase included their first live concert, M.I.C Pre-View, held in August 2022, where they introduced their two new members, HoJin and TaeWoo (later known as Haseung). WHIB announced the release of their debut single album Cut-Out in November of that year. Each member brought unique skills to the group, with backgrounds varying from reality show contestants to former trainees of well-known entertainment companies and even experiences in figure skating and child acting. The release of Cut-Out in 2023 was highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike, peaking at number 75 on the South Korean Top 100.
