Yoann Lemoine, who goes by the name Woodkid, is a French singer-songwriter who became famous as the director of music videos by acts such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Harry Styles. He studied graphic design and animation at college and spent time in England before moving to Paris in 2004. He worked in the film industry until 2011 when he released his debut EP 'Iron'. The title track hit number 31 on Billboard's Rock Digital Song Sales chart and was selected for inclusion on the soundtrack of the 'Assassin's Creed: Revelations' video game. His tracks 'I Love You' and 'Run Boy Run' are on the soundtrack of the 2014 feature film 'Divergent'. He performed in London and at the Montreux Jazz Festival, collaborated with artists such as Pharrell Williams and John Legend and performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and festivals in Montreal, Austria and Thailand. His 2013 release 'The Golden Age' went to number two on Billoard's Heatseekers Albums chart, number eight on the Germany Albums chart, number 38 on the Top Rock Albums chart and number 133 on the Billboard 200. An EP titled 'Ellis' with Nils Frahm came out in 2016 and he released the tracks 'L'aƩrogramme de Los Angeles' with Louis Garrel and 'Land of All' in 2016.
