Zhavia Ward is an American pop singer who came to prominence in 2018 after appearing as a finalist in the reality TV music competition 'The Four: Battle for Stardom'. She was exposed to a wide range of music styles from an early age as both her parents were aspiring musicians, with her father working in R&B and her mother performing in a metal band. After appearing in 'The Four', Ward signed with Columbia Records to release several of the songs she had covered during the competition, including classics like Roberta Flack's 'Killing Me Softly' and modern pop songs such as Rihanna's 'Man Down'. She also released three of her own singles in 2018, 'Candlelight', 'Deep Down' and '100 Ways'. That year she was also a featured vocalist on the track 'Welcome to the Party' by Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump, released as the second single from the 'Deadpool 2' (2018) movie soundtrack. In 2019, she duetted with Zayn Malik on the 'Aladdin' (2019) soundtrack for the song 'A Whole New World'. Later that year she released the single '17'.
