Zoufris Maracas was originally a duo formed by Vin's and Micho in 2007. The two childhood friends from Sète began by singing in the Paris metro, receiving their share of fines from the RATP. By dint of perseverance and encounters, Zoufris Maracas was invited on stage by La Rue Kétanou, and began performing in venues more suited to music. Signed by Chapter Two Records, Zoufris Maracas became a band with the addition of three musicians. The title track "Et ta mère" in July 2011 prefigures a six-track EP in October. In 2012, Zoufris Maracas release their debut album Prison Dorée. Going from strength to strength, Zoufris Maracas releases Chienne de Vie in March 2015. The following year, the band showcases its incredible stage energy through Live de la Jungle. Sometimes present at alternative events, the band continued in 2020 with the album Bleu de Lune, followed by a series of remixes collected in an album released the following year. Back in the studio after the Covid-19 pandemic, Zoufris Maracas unveiled their fifth album La Course Folle in 2024, featuring Brazilian singer Luiza.
