82Major (에이티투메이저), a six-member South Korean boy band formed by Great M Entertainment, debuted on October 11, 2023, with their single album On. The group name combines Korea’s country code, 82, with “major,” symbolizing their aim to represent Korea internationally. The members—leader Cho Seong-il, Yoon Ye-chan, Nam Seong-mo, Hwang Seong-bin, Park Seok-joon, and Kim Do-gyun—launched their careers with pre-release single “Sure Thing,” building anticipation ahead of their debut. Their first release, On, featuring tracks "Sure Thing" and "First Class," peaked at No. 29 on Korean charts, selling over 23,000 copies. In April 2024, they released their first EP, Beat by 82, with the lead single "Choke," which furthered their popularity by reaching No. 22 and selling over 33,000 copies. Following this success, 82Major announced a world tour, marking their first international promotions. In October 2024, they returned with their second EP, X-82, featuring the single "Stuck," which charted at No. 12 and sold 37,000 copies.
