El7z Up, stylized as EL7Z U+P, is a South Korean female supergroup formed in 2023 through the Mnet reality competition show Queendom Puzzle. Managed by Apple Monster and DG Entertainment, the group consists of seven members from several notable pop groups from the world of K-Pop: Kei from Lovelyz, Yeeun from CLC, Yeoreum from WJSN, Yeonhee from Rocket Punch, Nana from Woo!ah!, Hwiseo from H1-Key, and Yuki from Purple Kiss. The group's name reflects the idea of "the best seven members the audience 'puzzled' out," with the "7" representing the member count. Before the formation of El7z Up, each member had been involved in other prominent girl groups. The reality show Queendom Puzzle aimed to form a supergroup of 28 active female idols. The group's name and member lineup were announced on the show, with the promise of a debut later that year. El7z Up officially debuted in September 2023, releasing their first extended play 7+UP. This EP featured the group's debut single "Cheeky," which peaked at number 48 on the Korean Circle Chart. The EP itself peaked at number 11 on the Circle Albums Chart. Shortly after its release, the group announced a world tour, which would include their first show in Japan as well as a performance at the 2023 MAMA Awards.
