Adam Fenton is an English rapper, producer and writer. He is the son of 1970s rocker Alvin Stardust and along with DJ Fresh is the co-founder of Breakbeat Kaos Records. Fenton began his recording career in the drum & bass genre in 1996, with his single, 'Circles' becoming a UK Top 20 hit. In 1998 he won the MOBO Award for Best Album for 'Colours'. Switching focus to hip-hop in the early 2000s, Fenton not only worked with rap legends LL Cool J and De La Soul, he also composed the soundtrack to 'Ali G Indahouse', the movie of Sacha Baron Cohen's satirical character. Along with DJ Fresh, in 2003 Fenton founded the Breakbeat Kaos Records that has been the home of Pendulum, Sigma, Pixel Fist and The Brookes Brothers among other drum & bass and hip-hop artists. In 2012 the label suspended all operations, only to return in 2018 under the aegis of DJ Fresh. For his part, Fenton continued to gig, collaborate and release new material including 2019's 'Apocalypse/Eastern Spirit' vinyl release.
