Quebec fiddler and singer Alain-François composes music in a neo-traditional style, halfway between folk music with festive, heady refrains, and modernism through the addition of certain instruments. Although the stage remains his preferred means of expression, he delivers his wild songs on his two albums entitled Alain-François, in 2003 and 2007.
