Alexis Kossenko

Alexis Kossenko is a classical contemporary flautist and conductor who has collaborated with a great many artists, orchestras and ensembles. His recordings include 'Vivaldi: New Discoveries 2' (2012) with Swedish mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg, German violinist Anton Steck and Italian ensemble Modo Antiquo conducted by Italy's Federico Maria Sardelli. His albums with Arte Dei Suonatori include 'Complete Concerts By Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach' and 'Leçons de ténèbres' by Marc-Antoine Charpentier with baritone Stephan MacLeod. 'Le Grand Théatre de l'Amour' (2013) by Jean-Philippe Rameau features soprano Sabine Devieilhe, tenor Samuel Boden, baritone Aimery Lefevre and the Jeune Chour de Paris. Other releases include 'Trio Sonatas' (2014) by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and 'Operture & Concerti for Darmstadt' (2015) by Telemann. He was scheduled to become music director of the Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy in France in 2020.
