Bedroom pop bright spark Alfie Templeman (born in Bedfordshire, UK on 26 January 2003) has been lighting up the UK music scene since the release of his debut single "Orange Juice" in 2018. After taking his first steps as a drummer, he expanded his remit to include production and songwriting and wrote his debut EP Like An Animal—released on UK indie favorite Chess Club Records in October 2018—at home in his childhood bedroom. Two more EPs arrived in 2019: Sunday Morning Cereal and Don't Go Wasting Time. In 2020, he served up six slices of sweetly moreish indie on his Happiness In Liquid Form EP for Chess Club, featuring songs co-written with former Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson and Justin Young of the Vaccines. For his debut 2022 album Mellow Moon, he dipped into a range of styles from R&B to folk and jazz. Justin Young was listed among the LP's producers. His sophomore effort Radiosoul followed two years later in June 2024, which boasted Nile Rodgers among its guest contributors ("Just A Dance").
