Aliocha Schneider launched his entertainment career as a film actor, then began releasing music as a rock-influenced singer-songwriter in 2016. He was born in Paris, France, on September 21, 1993, and spent the majority of his childhood in Quebec, Canada. While still a teenager, he made his acting debut in the 2008 indie film Maman est chez le coiffeur, which was followed by releases like La dernière fugue (2010), Le Journal d'Aurélie Laflamme (2010), Les 4 soldats (2013), and Le Tournoi (2015). Meanwhile, he kickstarted a parallel career as a musician by forming the band The Last Assassins in 2012. Schneider's first release as a solo artist was Sorry Eyes, an EP released in 2016. One year later, Sorry Eyes was nominated for "Best Folk EP" at GAMIQ, also known as the Alternative Independent Music Gala of Quebec. Also arriving in 2017 was Aliocha Schneider's full-length debut album, Eleven Songs, which featured the viral hit single "Flash in the Pan." Another album, Naked, followed in March 2020, the same year he appeared in the French TV series Vampires. Aliocha Schneider, his self-titled third album, was released in late 2023 and reached number 126 on France's Top 100 Albums chart.
