AMEFURASSHI

Tokyo's five-member Japanese girl group Amefurasshi (アメフラっシ, stylised in English as AMEFURASSHI) came hurtling onto the scene in 2018 with a live performance at Cell Division festival. Comprising members Aira, Moeka Suzuki, Yuzuki Ichikawa, Hana Kojima, and Ohira Hikaru – who graduated in December 2019 – the Stardust Promotion-managed Amefurasshi released their debut single, "Amefurasshi Limited Edition Vol.1" in December 2018 and followed it with the second volume in January 2019. They went on to release another five singles comprising new volumes, with "Amefurasshi Limited Edition Vol.7" arriving in May 2020. Their debut album, Metamorphose, surfaced in September 2020 and although it failed to chart in Japan, the group went to number 13 on the country's Oricon chart with their sophomore effort, Drop, in May 2022.
