Bambi and Golden Tuning Fork winner Andrea Berg was born Andrea Zellen on January 28, 1966 in Krefeld, Germany. With her numerous number 1 albums, the pop singer is one of the most successful musicians in Germany. The trained medical assistant released her first album Du bist frei in 1992 with the songs "Schau mir noch mal ins Gesicht" and "Kilimandscharo". Andrea Berg's breakthrough came three years later with her second album Gefühle. In Austria and Germany, Gefühle made it into the top 10 of the charts with the single "Die Gefühle haben Schweigepflicht". After the release of further albums, she made it to the top of the German charts with the album Machtlos in 2003. The following albums Du (2004), Splitternackt (2005), Zwischen Himmel & Erde (2009) and Schwerelos (2010) also became number 1 hits in Germany and partly also in Austria. Between 2003 and 2011, the pop singer won the ECHO Music Prize several times. To mark her 20th stage anniversary, Andrea Berg gave several concerts at the beginning of 2012. Together with Birgit Schrowange and Simone Thomalla, the musician released a cover version of the song "Männer" by Herbert Grönemeyer in 2013. in 2016, the number 1 album Seelenbeben was released with the songs "Lust auf pures Leben" and "Schlaflose Nächte". Three years later, her album Mosaik followed with the songs "Steh auf" and "Das Wunder des Lebens", which reached number 1 in the charts in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. This was followed in 2022 by another number 1 album in the German and Austrian charts, Ich würd's wieder tun. The following year, Andrea Berg released a Christmas album, Weihnacht, which climbed to number 1 in Germany once again. In October 2024, the self-titled album Andrea Berg is released. The album climbs to the top of the charts in Germany and Switzerland.
