A singer from Madagascar, Anisha Jo won the Star Academy competition in 2022. Born in Tananarive on November 29, 1999, Anisha Jo Anyjaine left the capital of Madagascar in 2016 for France. With her baccalauréat in hand, she continued her studies in the humanities and social sciences in Paris, while writing poetry and songs. In 2020, she released her first English-language folk song, "Broken Out". The twenty-two-year-old student from Sannois in the Val d'Oise decided to audition for the 10th edition of the TV talent show Star Academy, and stayed at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys for the duration of the show. After successfully completing all the stages, Anisha Jo won the final on November 26, 2022, performing duets with Robbie Williams and rapper Soprano, as well as her song "De là-haut", which was released as a single a week later. She then turned her attention to writing her debut album, from which the singles "Tu rayonnes " and "Automne " were unveiled prior to release. Comprising songs in French, English and Malagasy, Lumière, released in November 2023 and featuring a duet with Abi Bernadoth, reached number 55 in the sales and listening charts.
