AnNa R.

The German singer and songwriter Andrea Neuenhofen (née Rosenbaum; born 25 December 1969 in East Berlin, East Germany), known professionally as AnNa R., has been plying her trade as a pop-adjacent musician since the early 1990s. She became the primary vocalist of the duo Rosenstolz in 1991 and alongside Peter Plate satisfied Germany's pop appetites until 2012, picking up chart victories on home soil as well as Switzerland and Austria along the way. Following the dissolution of Rosenstolz in 2012, she formed Gleis 8 with band members Lorenz Allacher, Timo Dorsch, and Manne Uhlig and went to number seven in Germany with the group's debut album Bleibt das immer so in May 2013. A second Gleis 8 album followed in 2016, Endlich, before AnNa R. jumped ship again to join Silly with Julia Neigel and released the album Instandbestellen in 2021. In 2023, she inaugurated her new solo project with debut album König:in, which spawned the single "Die Astronautin."
