Not to be confused with the rock & roll artist (and Heart frontwoman) Ann Wilson, Anne Wilson is a Christian singer whose debut single, "My Jesus," topped the Billboard Christian charts in 2021. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on February 21, 2002, and raised in a religious household. After signing her first record label at 17 years old, Wilson debuted with "My Jesus," a song she co-wrote with Jeff Pardo and Matthew West. Released in April 2021, "My Jesus" went gold while peaking at Number 1 on four different Billboard charts, including Christian Airplay and Christian Songs. The success helped propel her debut EP, My Jesus (Live in Nashville), to Number 12 on the Top Christian Albums chart later that summer. Before 2021 came to a close, Wilson returned to Number 1 on the Christian Airplay chart once more, this time with the holiday single "I Still Believe in Christmas." She earned another Top 10 hit in early 2022 with "Sunday Sermons," with the full-length album My Jesus following that spring. Featuring appearances by Crowder and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, My Jesus proved to be another success release, rising to Number 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart and featuring the Top 40 Christian hits "Hey Girl" and "Mamas." Released in 2024, the album Rebel returned Wilson to Number 1 on Top Christian Albums while also introducing her to country audiences. Featuring the singles "Rain in the Rearview" and "Strong," Rebel debuted at number 10 on Top Country Albums, crowning Wilson as a successful crossover artist.
