Micah Tyler Begnaud (April 19, 1983), better known as Micah Tyler, is an American Christian pop music artist. Born in Beaumont but raised in Buna, Texas, he grew up in a religious household and divided his first couple of years as a young adult between serving as a youth pastor and running a food truck. It wouldn't be until 2013 that he kicked off his music career with the independently-released album The Story I Tell, followed by the EPs Kitchen Sink (2014) and Different (2016), his first release for the label Fair Trade Services. Also in 2016, a humorous video he recorded for a church leaders' conference went viral on social media and helped his music reach a wider audience. A full-length titled Different arrived in 2017, reaching Number 23 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums and Number 8 on the Heatseekers chart. “Even Then,” the album’s third single, became his first Number 1 hit by reaching the top of the Christian Adult Contemporary chart. Third album New Today saw the light in 2020 and spawned the singles “Amen,” “New Today,” and “Walking Free,” which peaked at Number 42 on the Hot Christian Songs' Top 50.
