Jordan Feliz topped the Christian Airplay chart in 2015 with his debut single, "The River," which launched his career as a Dove Award-winning songwriter whose music is rooted in rock, folk, and Christian pop influences. He was born in Clovis, California, on March 15, 1989, and played his first shows as the frontman of an independent band, A Current Affair, whose lineup formed in 2006. Nearly a decade later, he rebranded himself as a solo artist with Beloved, which became a Top 40 hit on the Christian charts in 2015. The River followed in 2016 and charted even higher, peaking at Number 4 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Nominated for "Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year" at the GMA Dove Awards, The River featured a gold-certified title track, as well as Christian hits like "Best of Me" and "Never Too Far Gone." Future followed in 2018 and peaked at Number 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart, its popularity strengthened by the Top 10 gospel singles "Witness" and "Faith." Jordan Feliz maintained his presence on the Hot Christian Songs chart as the 2010s gave way to the early 2020s, with songs like "Glorify," "Next to Me," and "Jesus Is Coming Back" — all taken from his 2020 release, Say It — all becoming Top 40 hits. A holiday single, "Feliz Navidad," followed in 2021, peaking at Number 18. After a remix of "Jesus Is Coming Back" with Jonathan Taylor and Mandisa in 2021, the CCM singer reappears in 2023 with "The King Is Alive", followed by his fifth album Everything Good and the hit "Praise God for That" in 2024.
