Instantly recognisable thanks to her distinctive black fox mask, German alternative hip-hop artist Emilia Reichert first started out under the stage name Mia Fox before rebranding to Antifuchs. Born in Kazakhstan on July 23rd, 1989 and raised in Flensburg, Germany, she first rose to prominence in 2013 after participating in a Battle-Rap-Time tournament. She was subsequently invited to contribute several songs to the Echolot compilation curated by prominent indie label Versunkene Fabrik Music the following year, furthering her reach. By 2015, she had released a free debut EP entitled Willkommen im Fuxxxbau, which led her to ink a deal with D-Bo’s Wolfpack Entertainment imprint. Following a run of singles, her debut album, Stola, surfaced in March 2018, with veteran rapper Lakmann notably contributing to the track “Alter Hase, junger Fuchs”. Reichert’s raised profile earned her a short-lived deal with Warner Music, who oversaw the release of her sophomore album, Love, Weed & Mittelfinger, in 2019. The LP did not chart, and she returned to Wolfpack in 2020 with several new releases including the Dasmo & Mania collaboration “Schutzschild” and the John Known link-up "Lost in XXX".
