Born on July 9, 1970 in Chennai, prolific Indian carnatic and playback singer Anuradha Sriram has notched up a catalogue of over 4,000 songs across a four-decade career. Trained professionally in both carnatic music and western classical opera, she has taken her talent all over the world and contributed to Tamil, Telugu, Sinhala, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Hindi cinema. She has also amassed a repertoire of devotional singles and albums – including 2022's "Srinivasa Thiruvenkata" – and Indian pop pieces – including 2022's "Dhin Mubarak Hai" – as well as collaborating with her husband Sriram Parasuram on their Classical Music Jugalbandhi concerts and hit TV show Elaame Sangeetham Thaan. In 2021, she released new song "Velledare".
