Volkan Yaman (born on October 23, 1997), aka Apache 207, is a German rapper of Turkish descent, mainly known for his 2019 breakthrough single, “Roller.” He began his career in 2018 with the independently-released singles “Kleine Hure,” “Ferrari Testarossa,” and “Famous.” Shortly after, Apache 207 was signed to TwoSides in 2019 and released “Kein Problem,” which would eventually climb to Number 17 on the German charts. Following the moderate success of “Brot Nach Hause” and “2 Minuten,” the rapper hit the jackpot in 2019 with “Roller,” an infectious pop-rap number that went straight to Number 1 in Germany, becoming the most-streamed song that year. More success ensued with “200 km/h” and “Wieso tust du dir das an?,” the two other singles from Platte (2019), his debut EP, which peaked at Number 4 on Germany’s Album Charts. Subsequently, the MC seized on the momentum with Treppenhaus (2020), a stunning first studio album that debuted at Number 1 on the German Album Charts and spawned an impressive slew of four Number 1 singles: “Fame,” “Boot,” “Bläulich,” and “Unterwegs.” He followed up in 2021 with the chart-topping standalone single “Angst” and the dancy pop-rap of “2sad2disco (Kapitel I),” included in his second studio effort 2sad2disco. Preceded by the Number 1 single "Komet" with Udo Lindenberg, his third full-length album, Gartenstadt, debuted atop the German and Austrian charts, also reaching Number 2 in Switzerland.
